About The Position

The Metro East Saturday Program Coordinator will provide independent leadership for the planning, set-up, daily operations, and take-down of Saturday STEM programs. This position requires an individual who is reliable, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision to ensure smooth program delivery across multiple sites.

Requirements

Must have own reliable transportation to and between program sites.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
Ability to lift and transport program supplies and materials as needed.
Dependable, proactive, and adaptable to changing program needs.

Nice To Haves

Experience coordinating youth programs, camps, or educational activities preferred.

Responsibilities

Independently manage program set-up and take-down, including transportation of supplies between sites.
Oversee day-to-day program operations and proactively resolve logistical issues to ensure a safe, efficient learning environment.
Support instructional staff by preparing materials, organizing classrooms, and assisting with student activities as needed.
Coordinate and provide direction to volunteers or assistants to support program logistics and student engagement.
Serve as the on-site point of contact for staff, students, and families, providing information and responding to immediate needs.
Ensure supplies and equipment are properly inventoried, maintained, and transported between program sites.
Communicate progress, needs, or challenges promptly to the Innovation Hub Manager.
