About The Position

LCS is seeking a Metered Utilities Specialist whose primary function is to manage customer utilities and rate reviews. This role requires someone who enjoys research, has a keen eye for detail, enjoys math and equations, and likes analyzing data trends and finding anomalies. The specialist will also be involved in managing projects and building relationships with customers.

Requirements

Experience calculating and interpreting utility usage.
Excellent customer service.
Strong diagnostic skills with ability to research, troubleshoot and logically determine solutions.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and appointments in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter.
Ability to ask appropriate discovery questions to gather project requirements.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to navigate websites and investigate for project usage.

Responsibilities

Manage customer utilities and rate reviews.
Core functional knowledge of utility operations and rate schedules.
Ability to accurately read and interpret utility tariff sheets.
Foundational understanding of utility billing process and regulatory compliance.
Manage and complete all facets of assigned projects: define/create requirements specifications, scope of work documents and estimates; develop/deliver projects within established deadline.
Define, set, and clearly manage expectations with customers and team members.
Manage multiple ongoing projects and ensure they are delivered on time and meet or exceed expectations.
Have a strong knowledge of mathematical and equation functions.
Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
