This role involves light maintenance and minor repairs of parking meters, troubleshooting issues, and performing daily collections as needed. Requirements

• Experience in customer relations and able to communicate professionally and effectively.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for at least 2 years.
• Able to operate company vehicles safely.
• Willingness to be flexible and to work in any outdoor elements.
• Ability to handle challenging, and at times, emotionally charged situations.
• Must be able to work unsupervised at times.
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
• Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours at a time).
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and power tools safely.
• Ability to maintain accurate collection records, documenting every step in the process and communicate issues to accounting and collections supervisors in a timely manner.
• Must be able to pass a background, motor vehicle and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Technical knowledge, tool usage, and small engine/technology equipment repairs experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform light maintenance of parking meters.
• Visit machines daily to clean and service as needed.
• Exchange parts and troubleshoot meter issues.
• Work closely with Meter Collectors and the Accounting Team to troubleshoot and resolve meter alarms and issues.
• Inspect vehicles before driving and clean vehicles daily as needed.
• Represent the brand and client favorably at all times.
• Promote good customer relations by providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help.
• Perform daily collections as needed.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as cleaning, courier, and general maintenance.
• Assist with snow removal to ensure meters and lots are safe and accessible.
• Maintain a clean and organized meter room, work bench, and supply shelves.
• Maintain accurate inventory of components and records of repairs.
• Take pride in all work performed.
• Take care of co-workers, residents, customers/parkers, and clients.
• Perform additional duties as needed and assigned.
