About The Position
Survival Flight is currently accepting resumes for a full-time Meteorologist/Air Communications Specialist position in Columbia, TN. Survival Flight is a premier emergency medical transportation company dedicated to the quality of care to our patients and their safety with medical transportation. The Meteorologist/Air Communications Specialist is responsible for receiving, coordinating, and following through to conclusion all requests for Survival Flight by following established protocols and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or similar
- Previous medical dispatching experience
- Two-way radio proficiency
- Effective communication and public speaking skills
- Strong ability to multi-task and think critically under stressful situations
