Metals Inspector/Grader

About The Position
This role involves grading and inspecting incoming metals materials, directing and assisting customers within the facility, and sorting and moving materials as needed. The Metals Inspector/Grader must comply with all safety guidelines and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more repetitively on a regular basis
- Ability to stand for long periods of time on a daily basis
- Must be self-motivated team player, anxious and willing to learn new skills
- Ability to make decisions in a fast paced, ever changing environment
Responsibilities
- Grade and inspect incoming metals materials
- Direct customers throughout the facility
- Assist customers as needed
- Sort and move materials as needed
- Comply with all safety guidelines
- All other duties as assigned
