About The Position
This role is responsible for receiving and preparing samples for laboratory testing as requested by clients. The technician will conduct various metallurgical tests, analyze testing data, identify and correct quality control issues, and provide direction for testing. General maintenance of equipment and keeping the lab clean are also key responsibilities.
Requirements
- Previous laboratory experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Receive and prepare samples for laboratory testing.
- Conduct metallurgical tests including gravity concentration, flotation concentration, and leaching.
- Prepare, review, and analyze testing data.
- Identify and correct quality control problems.
- Provide direction and supervision of testing as required.
- Perform general maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain a clean laboratory environment.
