About The Position

Arconic is seeking a motivated and energetic student for a Metallurgical Engineering Intern position. This is a Full-Time, minimum 10-week assignment for the upcoming summer. The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary and a monthly housing stipend (if eligible). This position will be based at our Alcoa, TN location. Each intern is paired with a manager and mentor and is required to complete a project that will be presented to the location’s Lead Team and compete in the company-wide Intern Presentation Challenge. The program aims to provide professional development and an enjoyable summer experience with activities such as sporting events, volunteer experiences, Meet-and-Greet lunches, presentations with leaders, plant tours, and local outings.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Metallurgical Engineering, Material Sciences, or Engineering with a focus/specialization in Materials or Material Sciences.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
