About The Position

The Metal Worker will be responsible for braze operations, including notching and routing of cracks, visual inspection for cracks using a 10X magnifier, mixing braze alloys, dry honing/grit blasting, applying braze alloys and stop off using a syringe, and performing general departmental housekeeping. The role requires sustaining production standards and quality, performing in-process visual and dimensional inspections, and final cosmetic clean-up. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential. The position also involves adhering to and promoting Corporate Code of Ethical Standards, ensuring compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO quality requirements along with NADCAP, accurately documenting travelers, and following/utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles. Maintaining, implementing, and improving 5S principles, adhering to and improving safety regulations, and performing other duties as assigned are also part of the responsibilities. Additional tasks include moving parts & materials to the next operation and using hand tools to form braze pre-forms, as well as resistance tack welding.
