About The Position

The Metal Worker is responsible for assisting in the repair process and production of manufactured parts of exceptional quality. This role involves blending surfaces, applying or removing excess material with hand tools or machinery, setting up and using various machines, fixtures, and tools, and performing part modifications to specifications. The position also includes mixing production materials, adhering to production specifications, embracing continuous improvement and lean principles, maintaining department safety and housekeeping standards, and ensuring compliance with Quality Control Manual (QCM), ISO – Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) quality requirements, Company RSM, and all health, safety, and environmental policies. The role also requires adherence to the Corporate Code of Ethical Standards and regular, reliable attendance. Marginal duties may include performing other tasks in the facility as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to use hand held measuring tools.
  • Ability to work effectively individually or as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous metal working experience preferred but not required
