Perform typical progressive die set ups, tear downs, and press operations. Observe press in operation and make adjustments to control rate of production. Monitor tooling, press, and coil equipment during production to ensure it is working properly, i.e. watching gages, dials, etc. Regular quality inspections during production runs to ensure making good parts. Communicate clearly and concisely with the supervisor, other production personnel or quality personnel when a problem arises. Maintain an accurate count of parts. Extended periods of standing while operating press and running production. Follow all prescribed safety regulations, i.e.. PPE (safety glasses / hearing protection) etc.
