This role involves executing high-quality metal plating processes on steel and aluminum parts by following precise technical instructions outlined in Work Travelers. A thorough understanding of plating processes, a commitment to safety, and the ability to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards are crucial. This is a full-time position.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Able to read and understand English
Ability to operate overhead crane
Lift and carry 50 lbs. unassisted
Ability to use micrometer
Attention to detail
Willingness to train and learn new tasks
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident due to ITAR regulations.

Plating Experience a Plus.

Responsibilities

Plate steel or aluminum part(s).
Operate overhead crane.
Visually inspect part and racking technique prior to processing.
Set controls to maintain specified temperature of bath.
Determine length of time part remains in bath to reach desired plating thickness.
Perform in process inspections.
Complete final inspection after processing.
Document findings and processing record on Work Traveler.
Ensure work gets done safely and efficiently.
