About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Metal Painter to prep, prime, and paint metal signs and cabinets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position of Metal Painter is responsible for prepping and painting signs and cabinets.

Requirements

• Experience painting metal or aluminum preferred
• Ability to use paint guns, sanders, and hand tools
• Ability to read tape measures and shop drawings
• Comfortable working in a loud, industrial environment
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (team lift up to 100 lbs.)

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prep metal cabinets and signs using electric sanders
• Apply bond/filler as needed and sand to finish
• Prime and paint using gravity-fed paint guns
• Mix custom paint colors
• Move signs and cabinets using carts, forklifts, or team lifting
• Maintain clean, safe paint booths and work areas
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
