About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Metals Finishing Operator to safely operate production machinery, handle customer products with care, and help ensure parts meet required specifications and tolerances. In this role, you will support daily production goals by inspecting equipment, operating machinery and forklifts, logging parts in our ERP system, and keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate production machinery and forklift trucks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow directions, work as part of a team, and communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers.
• Basic computer skills for entering production information into ERP systems.
• Strong organization and time management skills to support production schedules.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability for basic equipment or process troubleshooting.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of OSHA and environmental standards relevant to manufacturing or metals finishing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
• Inspect equipment before use to confirm proper setup and alignment.
• Perform basic routine adjustments and maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently.
• Safely operate forklift trucks as needed.
• Produce required quantities of parts while maintaining established specifications and tolerances.
• Accurately log parts in the company ERP system, including Plex.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
• Report equipment malfunctions or process concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
