About The Position

The role of a Finisher I consists of finishing hardware medical device parts within the required specifications listed on work orders, schematics, and blueprints. The Finisher I will be expected to work independently to complete various finishing tasks. The Finisher I is required to be versatile within a production environment and learn various equipment as required. Development of specific skills will be expected.

Requirements

• Must be able to follow leadership's instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must have the ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to use the necessary tools and complete the required processes expected of a Finisher I.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and hand dexterity.
• Must possess strong math skills, ability to add, subtract, and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Independently complete finishing activities including Accurately Counting Parts, Sandblasting, Tumbler/Disc Machine Operation, Electro-Polishing, Drill Press Operation, Dremel Use, Tapping, Heat Treating, Peek Finishing, Tapping, and Work Order Diligence.
