Metal Finisher
About The Position
The Metal Finisher role is an on-site position based in Redford, MI. In this role, the Metal Finisher prepares, finishes, and refinishes metal components for medical equipment, including tables, stations, and related furnishings. Daily tasks include operating power tools, sanding and smoothing surfaces, inspecting work for quality, and following safety and cleanliness standards in the workshop. The Metal Finisher may assist with assembling equipment, preparing items for shipment, and collaborating with team members to meet production schedules and specifications. The role also involves following technical instructions and ongoing training to ensure consistency with company standards.
Requirements
- Ability to safely use and maintain power tools and related finishing equipment.
- Experience working with furniture or fixtures, including assembly, finishing, or repair.
- Willingness to participate in training and follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
- Attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and ability to inspect finished products for defects.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and manual handling of materials.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work effectively in an on-site production environment.

- Prior experience in metal finishing, fabrication, or a related trade is preferred.
