Requirements

  • Knowledge of fabrication tools and Equipment
  • Demonstrate excellent eye-hand coordination
  • Exceptional physical stamina
  • Ability to work for long periods of time if required.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lift heavy objects
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in welding
  • Ability to operate different types of fabrication equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions
  • Hardworking and detail-oriented individual.
  • High school diploma
  • Driver license required.
  • 3-5 years as a Metal Fabricator or a similar role.
  • Must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a Metal Fabricator in the Production or Construction industry will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Apply, remove, and repair metal components such as air ducts, hot or cold pipes, storage tanks, boilers, and buildings.
  • Read and interpret design blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Prepare fabrication and welding of various metal components and structures.
  • Work with a variety of fabrication machinery and tools.
  • Read blueprints, lay out and fabricate parts.
  • Interpret assembly drawings and instructions.
  • Understand clients’ requirements and specifications.
  • Measure and cut metal objects using tape measure or other measuring devices.
  • Cut and bend metal objects.
  • Weld metal components and materials.
  • Develop layouts and design plans.
  • Prepare a sequence of operations to accomplish the task.
  • Maintain machine tools and equipment such as drill press, edge planner, etc.
  • Perform quality control checks on the finished product.
  • Adhere to the company’s safety standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
