Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Training or equivalent experience with conventional hand tools (ex. torque wrench, vise drill, wire crimpers, pressure gauges, etc.)
  • Must pass respirator health assessment and fit test perf applicable regulation
  • Ability to comprehend and execute work assignments with minimal follow up
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
  • High level of mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to use diverse hand tools and equipment to perform duties
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
  • Ability to be cross trained in other functions
  • Ability to stand throughout entire shift

Responsibilities

  • Execute assignments as given by the supervisor or group leader
  • Immediately inform your supervisor of all equipment, process, material, safety, and quality concerns
  • Follow all work instructions, policies, work rules, safety guidelines, and work procedures
  • Perform assembly of mechanical and electrical products and systems
  • Perform required inspection and validation testing of mechanical and electrical products and systems
  • Meet or exceed all quality and quantity requirements
  • Perform painting operations utilizing paint accessories (ex. paint booth, HVLP paint gun, pressure pot PPI)
  • Participate in problem-solving, continuous improvement, and customer complaint resolution efforts
  • Read and understand product blueprints and technical data sheets as required
  • Training other team members as assigned
  • Participate in daily housekeeping of assigned areas and other cleanup efforts as assigned
  • Perform basic preventative equipment maintenance as assigned
  • Accept reassignment to other departments as workload dictates
