About The Position
Metal Fabrication (unskilled) is responsible for learning the basic skills needed to setup and operate machines in a safe manner. Metal Fabrication must also be able to cut parts for units as needed, and meet/exceed all production goals.
Requirements
- Work inside without air conditioning
- Use of hands and arms regularly
- Able to stand and walk around regularly
- Basic computer knowledge
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and bending frequently
- Able to lift and handle up to 50 pounds of material
- Safety glasses
- Gloves
- Ear plugs

- Ability to be cross trained
Responsibilities
- Setup and operate machines in a safe manner
- Cut parts for units as needed
- Meet/exceed all production goals
- Learn basic manufacturing principles
- Use air tools, bench grinders, and drill & punch press equipment
- Read and understand prints
- Use tape measure to the 32nd
- Operate CNC machines
- Be a great problem solver
- Communicate well with others
- Organize work area
