About The Position
We are seeking a Metal Cutter/Fabricator to join our team! Your responsibilities will include making accurate cuts and designs for HVAC distribution and return boxes, plenums and other miscellaneous metal needed for residential installation. You will also be responsible for basic maintenance of equipment, maintaining a clean, organized workspace at all times, and work closely with the whole team to meet project goals and stay within a timeline.
Requirements
- Experience in a shop environment desired
- Experience with cutting metals and heavy materials desired
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and within a team environment
Responsibilities
- Set up the appropriate equipment needed for the final product
- Work closely with the entire workshop team to ensure deadlines are being met
- Monitor equipment, make adjustments as needed, and perform all general maintenance to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely
- Maintain records of all materials used, and anything remaining
