About The Position

2020 Companies, in partnership with Meta, is hiring a part-time seasonal Meta Sales Specialist to work inside a local big-box retailer. The specialist demonstrates and promotes Meta products, creates engaging customer experiences, builds relationships with retail associates, and trains store teams on Meta apps, tools, and product features. Product and technology training is provided. The schedule is 20 hours per week, Friday through Sunday: Fridays from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The seasonal role runs from now through January 3, 2027. Additional shifts are added in November and December for key shopping days. Required holiday availability includes the day before Thanksgiving and two designated weekdays leading up to Christmas. Pay is $23 per hour, with a seasonal completion bonus contingent on attendance requirements, employee standing, and meeting KPIs. Training and certifications are completed remotely using a laptop or phone. The role may offer weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance incentives, sales-contest incentives, and potential pathways to lead specialist roles, retail management, and longer-term program opportunities. The position requires weekend availability and at least three one-time weekday shifts. A compatible smartphone and reliable personal transportation are required. Physical duties include standing, walking, reaching, bending, grasping, occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds, and continuous hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Comfort engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and confidently asking for the sale.
Customer-first experience mindset.
Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Availability to work weekends and a minimum of three one-time weekday shifts.
A smartphone equivalent to an iPhone 11, Samsung S25, or newer.
Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, grasp, occasionally lift up to 20 pounds, and perform continuous hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation.
Personal, reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

At least 6 months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecommunications, or marketing.
Interest in technology, wearable AI, and/or virtual reality.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate Meta wearable AI, smart technology, and immersive experiences through hands-on product demonstrations.
Proactively engage shoppers and provide welcoming, personalized customer experiences.
Present product features and benefits based on customers’ interests and needs.
Guide customers from initial engagement and product demonstration through asking for the sale.
Keep displays organized, products ready for demonstration, and the retail experience aligned with Meta brand standards.
Build relationships with store teams and inform them about current products, features, and promotions.
Track demonstrations, customer engagement, and sales activity while working toward individual and program performance goals.
Stay current on product launches, software updates, and emerging technology.
Train store teams on new AI apps, tools, and product features.
