Requirements

• Experience in log scaling / wood measurement
• Good knowledge of tree species
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (LIMS is an asset)
• Autonomy, rigor, and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in the field
• Advanced level of English is required, as the position is based in New Brunswick
• Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, or a valid open work permit

Responsibilities

• Measuring logs and accurately identifying wood species
• Managing the log yard and optimizing mill supply
• Monitoring and optimizing inventory
• Maintaining the quality of received and stored logs
• Preparing reports and performing administrative follow-ups
• Purchasing supplies and following up with suppliers
• Supporting health, safety, and environmental (HSE) activities
• Collaborating with operational and continuous improvement teams
