MES Analyst

About The Position

The MES Analyst will be based in West Columbia, South Carolina, and report to the Director, IT. The role is responsible for developing, designing, implementing, testing, and delivering MES (Flexflow) solutions. The analyst will assess complex business problems and design systems and procedures that improve efficiency, productivity, and quality while remaining cost-effective. Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into an independent publicly traded company, temporarily called SpinCo, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure and end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

Requirements

Very strong programming skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Prior experience with MES/Flexflow design and operations support.
Strong command of SQL/MSSQL, SQL Reporting Services, and .NET.
Exposure to systems integration/interfacing protocols and concepts.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Gather requirements from customers, business teams, and operations to map solutions.
Create and customize Flexflow to support new requirements and projects, including customer requests and site-efficiency enhancements.
Participate in new customer onboarding in collaboration with various teams.
Standardize solutions and prepare playbooks and documents for repeatable execution across projects.
Design and implement interfaces between Flexflow and Baan ERP, test equipment, and external customer systems.
Perform functional and integration testing of solutions.
Provide day-to-day L2/L3 incident support for Flexflow, including root cause analysis and preventive and corrective actions.
Translate business requirements documentation into functional and technical specifications for solutions and development teams.
