We are seeking someone with strategic intuition, strong financial rigor and the ability to learn rapidly in a fast-paced environment. As our Senior Analyst, you’ll drive and support key operational aspects of our end-to-end acquisition process—from build-buy-partner analyses and sourcing to due diligence and deal close. You’ll act as the connective tissue between Boomi’s inorganic growth vision and execution, ensuring our M&A efforts are focused, data-driven, and aligned with our long-term strategy. This highly cross-functional role requires close partnership with leaders across Product, Engineering, Security, Finance, Legal, HR, Sales, Marketing, Success and Strategy. You’ll distill diverse inputs into clear insights and recommendations, shaping decisions that influence Boomi’s future trajectory.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in corporate development, private equity, strategy consulting, ideally with software, SaaS, or tech exposure
  • Bachelors degree
  • Technical Skills, Communication & Strategic Thinking: Excellent ability to synthesize information from qualitative and quantitative sources, distill it into strategic insights, and present to senior leaders. Advanced financial modeling, strong analytical capabilities; strong independent written communication, able to produce exec-ready deal summaries, memos, and stakeholder emails with minimal supervision
  • Organizational Strength: Self-starter who can juggle multiple workstreams, maintain thorough organization, and hit tight deadlines
  • Adaptability & Learning Agility: Demonstrated ability to quickly pick up new domains, processes, and integrate into diverse teams and have a flexible mindset

  • Have previous experience in, or have had product exposure to the Integration & Automation, Data Management, API Management or AI Management space

Responsibilities

  • Co-lead Target Sourcing & Market Scanning: Conduct market mapping, identify high-potential acquisition, investment or technical partnership targets, and support outreach efforts; own the M&A pipeline tracker and deal database across 10–15+ concurrent targets; monitor market intelligence feeds, flagging relevant transactions and competitive moves
  • Facilitate Discussions with Potential Targets, Deal Kickoff & Handoff: Lead kickoff planning, craft meeting agendas, and guide discussions with internal stakeholders across functions
  • Lead Data Room & NDA Management: Set up and manage secure data rooms, distill insights and critical questions, oversee NDA workflows
  • Build and Own Deal Models: Construct robust financial and synergy models (standalone P&L, retention analysis, synergy bookings and cost profile, ROI cases), maintaining accuracy through diligence
  • Support Organization of Due Diligence Workshops: Coordinate logistics for on-site diligence reviews, facilitate content, bring internal and external teams together efficiently
  • Support Board-Level Recommendations: Prepare concise, compelling decks and internal memos for executive review and board presentations
  • Support Integration Handoff: Ensure a smooth transition to the post-merger integration team once the deal closes
  • AI-Adoption: Drive continuous optimization of all M&A related processes through the adoption of agentic tools
