About The Position

Coordinates the flow of freight throughout the building to ensure timely and safe delivery of freight to the Shipping dock for shipment to stores.

Requirements

• Ability to monitor and adjust the merge system.
• Ability to release batches properly to the Shipping dock.
• Ability to pull incorrect freight off the system.
• Ability to operate the merge system efficiently.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to identify properly labeled cases and direct them to the correct Shipping lane.
• Ability to adhere to work schedules.
• Adherence to set safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ability to maintain an organized work area.
• Follows all Company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and adjusts the merge system to maintain consistent freight flow.
• Releases batches to the Shipping dock according to work schedules.
• Removes incorrect freight from the system to maintain batch integrity.
• Operates the merge system efficiently to maintain workflow between modules and Shipping.
• Communicates with coworkers to resolve jams and maintain consistent flow.
• Ensures cases are properly labeled and sent to the correct Shipping lane.
• Adheres to work schedules by monitoring all Shipping lanes and modules.
• Follows safety procedures and guidelines to ensure personal safety.
• Maintains an organized work area and promotes a safe working environment within the Bulk department.
• Follows all Company policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
