Merchant

PoshmarkRedwood City, CA
$135,000 - $145,000

About The Position

Poshmark is the leading fashion marketplace where style comes alive through discovery, self-expression, and human connection. Powered by a vibrant community of 165 million members, Poshmark brings real people and taste to shopping through a social experience shaped by shared discovery. Buying and selling fashion feels simple, joyful, and personal, while every item tells its own story. Poshmark empowers sellers to grow meaningful businesses, keeps fashion in circulation longer, and gives shoppers access to unique and trusted finds, from everyday pieces to one-of-a-kind vintage and luxury. Poshmark's inventory is vast, dynamic, and unlike anything in traditional retail. This role exists to make sense of it and build processes around optimizing it to create intentional demand across the platform, digging in to where supply is constrained or oversaturated, and shaping how we surface the right product to the right buyer at the right moment. You'll operate as the merchant lead across all categories — Women's, Men's, Kids, Luxury, Sneakers, Home, and beyond — developing a platform-wide view of what's selling, what's stalling, and what we're missing. You'll translate that intelligence into action: working with site merchandising, growth, product, and supply teams to drive demand where the inventory exists and identify supply gaps where demand is outpacing listing volume. This is a commercially-minded role that sits at the intersection of data, intuition, and cross-functional influence. You'll manage an assistant merchant and be a key contributor to the broader Merchandising function as it scales.
