Merchant Services Deal Pricing Analyst - Hybrid
About The Position
Genesis10 is seeking a Merchant Services Deal Pricing Analyst for a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 3 days on-site per week, with a Global Financial Institution. This position is located in Tempe, AZ, Des Moines, IA, or Irving, TX, and is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The role is designed to support the Merchant Services business by evaluating pricing opportunities and contributing to decisions that influence client relationships, profitability, and business expansion. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Sales and Relationship Managers to analyze pricing requests, assess financial implications, and provide recommendations supported by data. This position is well-suited for an analytical individual who thrives on working with data, resolving business challenges, and engaging in cross-team collaboration within a dynamic environment.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Merchant Services, Payments, Financial Services, Operations, Pricing, Finance, or a related analytical field; or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- Experience analyzing data and making recommendations based on financial, operational, or business insights
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple requests and meet established deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and modeling
- Exposure to pricing, financial analysis, revenue analysis, or profitability assessment
- Basic understanding of merchant pricing concepts, including interchange, assessments, processing fees, and related cost structures
- Experience working with pricing, reporting, or business intelligence tools

Responsibilities
- Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Finance
- Review and analyze moderately complex Finance challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
- Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Finance deliverables
- Partner closely with Sales and Relationship Managers to analyze pricing requests, assess financial impacts, and provide data-driven recommendations
- Evaluate merchant business characteristics such as transaction volume, processing trends, seasonality, and cost structures
