About The Position

Great Lakes Wine & Spirits is seeking a Merchandising Swing Representative for its Retail Chain Sales Division. This role will service multiple accounts in and surrounding areas of Clinton Township. The Merchandising Swing Rep is responsible for the timely stocking and product handling of all GLWAS merchandise shipped to assigned retail accounts. This includes packing out orders, pricing bottles, building displays, resetting shelf and cold box schematics, implementing correct signage, product rotation, fronting, dusting, and maintaining shelf and housekeeping standards. The position also involves generating positive business relationships with account management, maintaining product knowledge, understanding and executing merchandising standards, ensuring correct pricing and signage, and utilizing reports and pre-plans.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21 years
• High School Diploma/GED
• Basic competency with basic iOS devices
• A valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is required.
• Must consent to the company's screening of your driving record.

• Must pass pre-employment screenings including a background check on a criminal record, physical evaluation, agility (lift) test, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Timely stocking and product handling of all GLWAS merchandise.

• Maintain good product knowledge on all GLWAS brands.
• Improve overall wine/beverage/category knowledge.
• Constantly improving appearance of GLWAS items in accounts.
• Understanding and execution of shelf, display, and cold box standards.
• Ensuring all shelf price tags are correct and in place.
• Ensuring all display prices are correct and placed with current pricing.
• Maintaining and placing all current POS for all products.
• Maintaining and using reports, forms, and pre-plans.
