About The Position

As a Lowe's Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a great shopping experience. You ensure store signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate and easy for customers to navigate. You create safe, clean, visually appealing displays that customers can access easily. Most work does not involve customer interaction, but associates may engage with customers, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and help locate or handle merchandise.

The role involves completing merchandising resets and service projects, validating product locations and pricing, preparing buyback items for shipment, and maintaining merchandise and displays. Associates coordinate project priorities and schedules with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager and provide feedback on project execution. The position may involve working indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions. Regular travel is not required, though occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed.

Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
• Ability to use web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted, or over 25 pounds with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Lowe's sales floor experience.
• Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
• Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
• Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.
• Bilingual, military, and veteran talent is strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe's specifications and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
• Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
• Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including digital maintenance of this information throughout the store.
• Confirm product pricing information is visible and replace missing price labels.
• Help drive add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products into proper locations, and placing displays appropriately throughout the store.
• Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
• Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
• Engage with customers when appropriate, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and assist with locating or handling merchandise.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
