About The Position
A Lowe's Merchandising Services Associate connects Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a positive shopping experience. The role focuses on implementing merchandising strategies, maintaining accurate signage and pricing, and creating safe, clean, accessible, and visually appealing product displays. Most work does not involve customer interaction, but associates may assist customers by answering questions, communicating product or warranty information, and helping locate or handle merchandise. The position involves merchandising resets and service projects, validating product locations and pricing, preparing buyback items for shipping, and maintaining merchandise and displays. Associates communicate project priorities and needs to the Merchandising Services Team and Manager and provide feedback on project execution. The role may involve working indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions, exposure to noise and moving equipment, and occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores. The title specifies part-time, days; most associates have a set weekday schedule, though Live Nursery MST Associates may be required to work weekends.
Requirements
- Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
- Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
- Ability to use web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds unassisted, or more than 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- Lowe's sales floor experience.
- Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
- Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
- Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.

Responsibilities
- Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe's specifications and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
- Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
- Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including maintaining this information digitally throughout the store.
- Ensure product pricing information is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
- Help drive add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products into appropriate locations, and placing displays appropriately throughout the store.
- Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
- Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
- Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
- Listen to customers, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and assist with locating or handling merchandise when opportunities arise.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
