About The Position

As a Lowe's Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to support a positive shopping experience. You maintain accurate store signage, pricing information, and product displays so merchandise is easy to locate, safe, clean, visually appealing, and accessible. Most work involves limited customer interaction, but you may assist customers by answering questions, sharing product or warranty information, and helping locate or handle merchandise.

The role may involve working indoors and outdoors in varying weather and climate conditions, exposure to noise and moving or shaking equipment, and occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores. Associates must follow lifting guidelines, use powered equipment only with proper training or trained assistance, and may need to work weekend shifts if assigned to Live Nursery MST.

Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
• Ability to use web-based computer programs to complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted, or lift more than 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Follow lifting guidelines limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.
• Use powered equipment as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Nice To Haves

• Lowe's sales floor experience.
• Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
• Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
• Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.
• Bilingual, military, or veteran background; Lowe's strongly encourages these candidates to apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe's specifications and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
• Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
• Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including maintaining this information digitally throughout the store.
• Ensure product pricing is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
• Stage clearance products, sort products into the proper locations, and place displays appropriately to help drive add-on sales.
• Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
• Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
• When opportunities arise, listen to customers, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and help locate or handle merchandise.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
