About The Position

The Lowe’s Merchandising Services Associate connects Merchandising with Store Operations to help deliver a strong shopping experience. The role ensures that store signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate and that merchandise is easy to find. Associates create and maintain displays that are safe, clean, visually appealing, and accessible to customers. Most work does not involve customer interaction, though associates may answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and help customers locate or handle merchandise. Regular travel is not required, but occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed. Working conditions may include both indoor and outdoor environments, varying weather and temperatures, noise, and moving equipment or objects. Associates must follow lifting guidelines: single lifts are limited to 75 pounds, with team lifts used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment must be used as required and only with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
• Ability to use web-based computer programs to complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted, or more than 25 pounds with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Lowe’s sales floor experience.
• Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
• Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment.
• Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.
• Bilingual, military, and veteran talent are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe’s specifications, and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
• Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
• Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including digital maintenance of this information throughout the store.
• Confirm that product pricing information is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
• Help drive add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products into proper locations, and ensuring displays are appropriately placed throughout the store.
• Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
• Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
• Listen to customers, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and assist with locating or handling merchandise when opportunities arise.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
