About The Position

The Merchandising Services Associate connects Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a strong shopping experience in Lowe’s stores. The role focuses on implementing merchandising strategies, building product displays, and keeping signage, pricing, and product-location information accurate. Associates complete merchandising resets and service projects, maintain safe and accessible displays, and may assist customers by answering questions, sharing product or warranty information, and helping locate or handle merchandise. Most work does not involve customer interaction. The position may involve work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions. Regular travel is not required, though occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed.

Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
• Ability to use web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted, or more than 25 pounds with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Lowe’s sales floor experience.
• Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
• Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
• Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.

Responsibilities

• Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe’s specifications, and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
• Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
• Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including maintaining this information digitally throughout the store.
• Ensure product pricing is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
• Support add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting merchandise into proper locations, and placing displays appropriately.
• Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
• Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
• Engage with customers when appropriate, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and assist with locating or handling merchandise.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
