The Merchandising Service Manager is responsible for leading a team of Merchandising Service Associates (MSAs) to drive efficient project execution in fulfillment of the overall Merchandising Service strategy. This role involves guiding MSAs on project priorities, scheduling, expectations, and needs, as well as delivering onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management. The manager will also handle disciplinary actions, manage expenses, resolve project and store-level issues, and communicate project information to various stakeholders. A key aspect of the role is identifying opportunities for improvement in efficiency, merchandising, and displays. The manager will lead teams ranging from 11-21 people, collaborate with Field Project Managers on large third-party labor projects, and ensure the merchandising of live goods in garden centers. Additionally, the role requires providing excellent customer service by assisting customers with their needs, responding to inquiries, and ensuring accurate pricing and product information. The manager will oversee stock, fronting, and packing down of merchandise according to planograms, confirm signage and product information accuracy, and ensure displays and bay integrity meet Lowe's specifications. Collaboration with receiving departments for staging processes and managing buyback items and damaged products are also key responsibilities. The role also emphasizes maintaining a clean and safe store environment, detecting security risks, and adhering to all safety requirements and store equipment operation procedures.
