The Merchandising Service Manager is responsible for leading a team of Merchandising Service Associates (MSAs) to execute the overall Merchandising Service strategy. This role involves scheduling, resource management, coaching, performance management, and financial oversight of team expenses. The manager will also identify and resolve project issues, communicate project updates, and drive improvements in merchandising and displays. A key aspect of the role is leading the merchandising of live goods in garden centers and collaborating with field project managers on large third-party labor projects. Additionally, the manager is expected to provide excellent customer service, ensure merchandise is stocked and displayed according to planograms, maintain store cleanliness and safety standards, and operate store equipment as needed.
