About The Position

As a Lowe's Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a positive shopping experience. You build and maintain displays and implement merchandising strategies that showcase products. You ensure signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate, safe, clean, visually appealing, and accessible to customers. Most work does not involve customer interaction, but you may assist customers by answering questions, communicating product or warranty information, and helping locate or handle merchandise.

The role generally follows a set weekday schedule, though Live Nursery MST Associates may be required to work weekend shifts. Regular travel is not required, but occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed. Working conditions may include indoor and outdoor weather, extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Associates must follow lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
• Ability to use web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted, or more than 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Follow lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; use team lifts minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.

Nice To Haves

• Lowe's sales floor experience.
• Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
• Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
• Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.

Responsibilities

• Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe's specifications and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
• Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
• Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including maintaining this information digitally throughout the store.
• Confirm product pricing is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
• Stage clearance products, sort products into their proper locations, and place displays appropriately to help drive add-on sales.
• Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
• Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
• Assist customers when appropriate by answering questions, communicating product or warranty information, and helping locate or handle merchandise.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
