About The Position

As a Lowe's Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a positive shopping experience. You build and maintain displays and implement merchandising strategies that showcase products. You ensure store signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate, safe, clean, visually appealing, and accessible to customers. Most work does not involve direct customer interaction, but associates may be expected to engage with customers, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and help customers locate or handle merchandise. The role generally follows a set weekday schedule, though Live Nursery MST Associates may be required to work weekend shifts. Regular travel is not required, but occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed. Working conditions vary by location and may include indoor and outdoor work, extreme temperatures, wet or humid conditions, wind or drafts, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Lifting practices depend on the role, weight, and volume; single lifts are limited to 75 pounds, team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed, and powered equipment should be used when required with proper training or assistance.

Requirements

Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
Ability to use web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks.
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to minimally lift 25 pounds unassisted, or more than 25 pounds with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Lowe's sales floor experience.
Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.

Responsibilities

Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe's specifications, and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including maintaining this information digitally throughout the store.
Confirm product pricing is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
Stage clearance products, sort products into proper locations, and ensure displays are appropriately placed to help drive add-on sales.
Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
Analyze metrics and provide feedback about project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
Listen to customers, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and assist with locating or handling merchandise when appropriate.
Complete other duties as assigned.
