About The Position

As a Lowe's Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a strong shopping experience. You build and maintain displays and implement merchandising strategies that showcase products. You ensure signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate, safe, clean, visually appealing, and easy for customers to access. Most work does not involve customer interaction, but you may answer questions, provide product or warranty information, and help customers locate or handle merchandise. The position involves completing merchandising resets and service projects, verifying and preparing buyback items for shipment, maintaining wayfinding and product-location information, confirming visible pricing, and keeping merchandise and displays in suitable condition. You communicate project needs and priorities with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service. The role does not require regular travel, though occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed. Work may take place indoors or outdoors in changing weather and climate conditions, with possible exposure to noise and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Associates must follow lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or help from a trained coworker.

Requirements

Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
Ability to use web-based computer programs to complete assigned tasks.
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted, or over 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
Follow lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; use team lifts minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.
Use powered equipment as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Nice To Haves

Lowe's sales floor experience.
Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.

Responsibilities

Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe's specifications, and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including maintaining this information digitally throughout the store.
Confirm product pricing is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
Support add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products into the proper locations, and placing displays appropriately throughout the store.
Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
When appropriate, engage with customers, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and assist with locating or handling merchandise.
Complete other duties as assigned.
