Full Time - Merchandising Service Associate - Day
About The Position
As a Lowe's Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a strong shopping experience. You ensure store signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate so merchandise is easy to find. You create displays that are safe, clean, visually appealing, and accessible to customers. Most work does not involve customer interaction, but you may assist customers by answering questions, communicating product or warranty information, and helping them locate or handle merchandise. The role may involve occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores. Working conditions can include indoor and outdoor environments, extreme temperatures, damp or windy conditions, noise, and moving or shaking equipment and objects.
Requirements
- Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
- Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
- Ability to use web-based computer programs to complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted, or more than 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
- Follow lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.
- Use powered equipment as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
Nice To Haves
- Lowe's sales floor experience.
- Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
- Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
- Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.
- Bilingual, military, or veteran background; these candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects to Lowe's specifications and provide proof of completion.
- Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
- Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including maintaining this information digitally throughout the store.
- Confirm product pricing is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
- Support add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products into proper locations, and placing displays appropriately.
- Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
- Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
- Analyze metrics and provide feedback to store, market, and corporate leaders on project execution and in-store service.
- Assist customers when appropriate by answering questions, sharing product or warranty information, and helping locate or handle merchandise.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
