About The Position

As a Lowe’s Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a great shopping experience. You ensure store signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate and make merchandise easy to locate. You create displays that are safe, clean, visually appealing, and accessible to customers. Most work involves limited customer interaction, but associates may answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and help customers locate or handle merchandise. The role may involve working indoors and outdoors in varying weather and noise conditions. Regular travel is not required, although occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed. The pay range is $16.00–$16.65 per hour; starting pay may vary based on factors including position, location, education, training, and experience.

Requirements

Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
Ability to use web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks.
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted, or over 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
Follow lifting guidelines that limit single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.
Use powered equipment as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Nice To Haves

Lowe’s sales floor experience.
Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
Working knowledge of essential tools such as hand tools, drills, and saws.

Responsibilities

Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe’s specifications, and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including digital maintenance of this information throughout the store.
Confirm product pricing information is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
Help drive add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products in their proper locations, and ensuring displays are appropriately placed throughout the store.
Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
Listen to customers, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and assist with locating or handling merchandise when needed.
Complete other duties as assigned.
