Merchandising Operations Coordinator
About The Position
Sweetwater, the nation's number one online retailer of music instruments and pro audio gear, is seeking to hire a detailed, knowledgeable, and driven Merchandising Operations Coordinator to join our growing Merchandising team! In this role, you will be responsible for supporting a wide range of initiatives within the Merchandising division, serving as a key cross-functional partner and process improvement lead. You will play a key part in the development and documentation of IT business requirements for both new and enhanced system functionality (including 4D, Officelink, Looker, Filemaker, BigQuery, Jira, and more). You will support company-wide training efforts by identifying skill gaps, designing and delivering training sessions, creating support manuals, and evaluating program effectiveness.
Requirements
- Must have high attention to detail and be strong in analytical tools
- High School Diploma required
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Looker, BigQuery, and other data platform tools preferred
Responsibilities
- Act as primary point of contact for Merchandising across departments, ensuring alignment, communication, and execution of high-impact projects
- Identify process inefficiencies through observation and analysis and recommending data-driven process solutions for workflows and outcomes
- Co-author, update, and maintain standard operating procedures
- Manage execution of promotional extended finance programs across multiple platforms
- Serve as Merchandising's primary liaison to IT
