About The Position

The Merchandising Manager is part of Aritzia’s Boutique Merchandising Department, which curates merchandise assortments and supports a seamless retail environment to create exceptional shopping experiences. The role is responsible for strategic product placement and presentation in the boutique, translating product stories and maintaining sales-floor standards to deliver an Everyday Luxury experience. The manager also supports team development and retail operations in pursuit of business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments to and from the distribution center, between boutiques, and to clients.
• Strategically place product on the sales floor to maximize sales opportunities.
• Translate product stories through creative visual merchandising.
• Lead the team in executing Aritzia’s standards for product display and maintenance on the sales floor.
• Support omnichannel services to enable seamlessly integrated cross-channel shopping experiences.
• Ensure seamless operations across all aspects of the retail space, including Clients, Product, Space, Risk, and Operations.
• Manage the retail team’s day-to-day performance in support of business objectives, progressive career development, and an excellent employee experience.
