About The Position

Bunge’s Merchandising Internship program introduces interns to the company’s various value chains and teaches them how to create sales and growth in the marketplace. Interns develop arbitrage and risk management skills to help reach and exceed profitability goals in the grain industry. The internship location will be determined from the listed locations, and candidates must be willing to relocate for the internship.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree or MBA program in Agribusiness, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• Preference for junior status in university.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Professionally aggressive and self-motivated.
• Able to function in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to deliver customer excellence.
• Must be willing to relocate to the internship location.

Responsibilities

• Proactively develop and cover existing sales and supplier accounts.
• Develop prospective accounts.
• Build market knowledge and insight through ongoing communication with product suppliers, customers, and transportation vendors.
• Facilitate and schedule logistics for timely product delivery using barge, rail, and truck transportation.
• Obtain and develop merchandising skills as a foundation for future opportunities.
• Improve business outcomes by making data-driven decisions, keeping customers at the forefront, and proactively gaining insight into global strategy.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with others.
• Pursue opportunities to solve problems and take action while managing work.
