About The Position

Merchandising Execution Project Associates (MEPA) support in-store activities by performing merchandising service activities such as merchandising projects, planogram maintenance, overhead organization, and display/signage maintenance, all designed to enhance the customer experience. They are primarily assigned to projects, ensuring they are executed safely, accurately, and efficiently, and will perform general bay service when project work is not available or as assigned. The MEPA works with on-site supervision, providing service to multiple departments in the stores, and must be capable of executing directives from the Merchandising Execution Team Supervisor (MET supervisor), District Execution Managers (DEM), and supporting store leadership. This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with store associates and providing superior customer service to both internal and external customers. The MEPA typically works weekdays mornings.

Requirements

Basic computer skills with knowledge of web based applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Interpersonal skills, working on teams, with heavy reliance on team to accomplish goals

Attention to Detail: Stays attentive and aware, catches errors before completing assignments, and maintains high quality standard for work

GED Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
1 year of relevant working experience

Responsibilities

Plan the execution of merchandising projects working with store leadership and MET Supervisor
Plan for the time and number of associates needed for project and work with MET Supervisor for approval
Read and interpret directions to ensure merchandise is set to the planogram, project instructions and general service guidelines
Ensure beam Elevation changes are compliant to set standards
Build displays and fixtures using basic hand tools
Maintain, order, and install display material/signage/brochures
Provide regular updates on project status to MET Supervisor
Report deficiencies in Compass to cross functional teams to ensure quick resolution to deficiencies
Capture correct hours worked in Compass
Read and interpret directions to ensure merchandise is set to the planogram, project instructions, program service requirements and general service guidelines
Straighten, clean and merchandise product to ensure merchandise is presented in a visually appealing manner
Maintain copy of most recent planogram inside upright beam adjacent to product set
Follow directions and processes to conduct accurate price and label changes
Replace incorrect, damaged, or missing price labels
Maintain aisle
Utilize store systems to access key merchandising reports
Read, interpret, and execute action based on findings
Maintain bay service records and other documentation as directed
Execute one off projects as required by store, district, and regional leadership
Maintain aisle cleanliness so that merchandise is accessible and customers are able to move throughout the aisles easily
Answer questions regarding the store and products for the customers
Partner with store associates to find necessary products to fit the customer's needs
Partner with store representative to conduct inspections of returned and damaged items for Return to Vendor
Follow standard operating and safety procedures
Complete assigned training curriculum
Other duties as assigned
