About The Position

The Merchandising Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the execution of merchandising initiatives by managing critical operational and administrative tasks. This position is responsible for vendor and product onboarding, maintaining accurate product data, processing pricing and promotional updates, and resolving inventory and purchase order discrepancies. Working cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, and vendor partners, the Merchandising Coordinator helps ensure accurate execution, operational efficiency, and a seamless customer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (2+ years) in merchandising, retail, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Must reside within commuting distance of Phoenix, AZ
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored visa support

Responsibilities

  • Manage vendor setup and maintain accurate vendor account information
  • Oversee item maintenance, ensuring all product data is accurate and up to date
  • Coordinate new product launches, including system setup and data entry
  • Monitor and process product cost updates across systems
  • Prepare and manage RFPs to ensure SKU accuracy and cost alignment with vendors
  • Coordinate and fulfill special order requests with internal teams and vendors
  • Track and monitor promotional activities to ensure accurate execution
  • Coordinate and submit promotions for system setup (ISS)
  • Support reporting and analysis of promotional performance
  • Track and resolve purchase order (PO) variances and discrepancies
  • Manage inventory feeds for drop-ship vendors and ensure accurate system updates
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors to maintain inventory accuracy
