About The Position

Under routine direction, assist in the placement of goods on the salesfloor and satellite operations, event setups and takedowns, and stockroom organization. Responsible for maintaining visual merchandise standards and guidelines to support brand consistency on the sales floor and in the stockroom. Responsible for assisting in replenishment of merchandise in all locations. Responsible for assisting in stockroom organization & space utilization. Responsible for executing mark-ups and mark-downs as instructed. Responsible for notifying buying groups of problems with merchandise arrivals. Responsible for both set-up and take-down of merchandise for on-site and off-site events. Responsible for assisting with cleanliness of the stockroom.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) degree.
  • At least one year retail/customer service experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must have not been issued more than three moving violations or have been responsible for more than three accidents (or any combination of more than three thereof during the past 12-month period).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, subordinates, vendors, other departments, customers and the general public.
  • Ability to apply basic math concepts; calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages.
  • Ability to add and subtract totals, multiply and divide.
  • Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out general written or oral instructions.
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize work and pay attention to detail.
  • Ability to raise, manipulate, maneuver tools, components and materials and handle a variety of items, equipment, control knobs, switches, etc.
  • Ability to talk/expressing and/or exchanging ideas and hear/perceiving sounds.
  • Specific visual abilities required by this job include close vision for reading receiving delivery and inventory information.

Nice To Haves

  • Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • May need to use a computer terminal.
  • There are occasional requirements to handle objects, tools and controls.
