About The Position

We're looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, driving results, and creating exceptional store experiences. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support daily store operations, lead teams, and ensure every project is completed with excellence. You'll partner with the Store Manager to deliver outstanding execution, coach team members, and help create a safe, organized, and customer-focused environment. This role offers the opportunity to build leadership skills, contribute to high-performing teams, and make a meaningful impact on store success within a collaborative, people-first culture. This position requires travel within a defined territory.

Requirements

Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
Two or more years of retail, grocery, merchandising, or customer service experience preferred.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Willingness to travel between locations as scheduled and assigned, both in the local pod and the wider region.
Depending on the specific position, a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and a Department of Motor Vehicles check may be required.

Responsibilities

Support daily store operations, including merchandising, product resets, remodels, and special projects.
Lead assigned shifts and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
Coach, train, and motivate team members while reinforcing company standards and best practices.
Monitor project progress and help ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
Build positive relationships with customers, store leadership, and team members.
Promote a culture of safety by modeling safe work practices and maintaining clean, organized work areas.
Utilize company technology and reporting systems to support daily operations and project execution.
