We are hiring for a Full-Time Merchandising and Floral Manager with a wage range of $45,000 - $60,000 at our location in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.

Requirements

  • 2 years minimum of progressive merchandising experience
  • A history of meeting financial objectives and targets in a retail environment
  • A passion and knowledge of flowers, vegetables, and other types of plants
  • Creative, innovative, and design-oriented mindset
  • Strong Google Suite skills and the ability to quickly learn new computer programs
  • Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Exceptional communication, active-listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Effective critical thinking and conflict resolution skills
  • Comfortable working during peak retail hours (i.e. daytime, weekends, and holidays)
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
  • The willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Merchandising and Floral Department’s growth in sales and profitability
  • Creating, executing, and dismantling store promotion and seasonal displays
  • Inventory Management through weekly ordering, record & invoice maintenance, and leading quarterly inventory counts
  • Schedule Merchandising and Floral Team Members to ensure that customer and department needs are met
  • Collaboration with other departments to plan meaningful and functional displays
  • Train, develop, and motivate Team Members to achieve operational standards
  • Daily product availability to achieve the “Full and Fresh” company standard
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience
