We are hiring for a Full-Time Merchandising and Floral Manager with a wage range of $45,000 - $60,000 at our location in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
Requirements
- 2 years minimum of progressive merchandising experience
- A history of meeting financial objectives and targets in a retail environment
- A passion and knowledge of flowers, vegetables, and other types of plants
- Creative, innovative, and design-oriented mindset
- Strong Google Suite skills and the ability to quickly learn new computer programs
- Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Exceptional communication, active-listening, and interpersonal skills
- Effective critical thinking and conflict resolution skills
- Comfortable working during peak retail hours (i.e. daytime, weekends, and holidays)
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
- The willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Merchandising and Floral Department’s growth in sales and profitability
- Creating, executing, and dismantling store promotion and seasonal displays
- Inventory Management through weekly ordering, record & invoice maintenance, and leading quarterly inventory counts
- Schedule Merchandising and Floral Team Members to ensure that customer and department needs are met
- Collaboration with other departments to plan meaningful and functional displays
- Train, develop, and motivate Team Members to achieve operational standards
- Daily product availability to achieve the “Full and Fresh” company standard
- Provide an exceptional customer experience
