About The Position

Franz Family Bakery, a well-established company with a history dating back to 1906, is seeking a Sales Merchandiser to join their team in Nampa, ID. This role is crucial for ensuring that Franz products are well-represented on store shelves. The ideal candidate will be a reliable, safe, and organized individual with strong communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with various stakeholders.

Requirements

Must be available to work between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m., weekdays and weekends.
Must have a solid work history.
1+ years of experience in a similar merchandising position.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and perform frequent to constant handling activities.
Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, math test, physical, and physical capacity test.
Must possess a clean driving record and provide a current driving abstract if called for an interview.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and maneuver large, bulky racks of product.
Must be highly organized, fast-paced, and able to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals.
Must have a proven work history of being reliable, safe, and positive.
Must uphold the Franz core values.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the bread/bakery/food industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintaining bakery products in assigned stores, including stocking shelves and rotating outdated products.
Ensuring product freshness and presenting bakery items in a visually appealing manner.
Driving a company vehicle to deliver products to customer locations.
Loading and unloading product in the company vehicle, which involves pushing/pulling racks and trays of bakery products.
Performing additional duties as assigned.
