About The Position

The Chesterman Company, an independent Coca-Cola Bottler serving the Midwest since 1872, is seeking a Full Time Merchandiser. This role is responsible for maximizing customer service by efficiently delivering and merchandising products. The company operates 14 distribution centers across Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota and is known for brands like Coca-Cola®, PowerAde®, Body Armor®, Monster Energy®, Gold Peak Tea®, SmartWater®, and Minute Maid Juice®.

Requirements

• High-School Diploma/GED
• No experience necessary – on the job training is performed.
• Valid driver’s license
• Good driving record
• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English to be able to communicate with coworkers and supervisor and to operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and rotate all products including the beverage section, displays, racks, NCBs, CCMs, vendors and any others.
• Be courteous to all customers and their employees, also respect their property.
• Responsible for first-line maintenance and cleanliness of company vehicle.
• Responsible for writing the order for the next delivery.
• Responsible for keeping backroom area clean and organized.
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
