This role involves displaying beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and on the sales floor of retail stores. The Merchandiser arranges products according to a prearranged plan or their own ideas approved by management, places price and descriptive signs, and transfers product from customer stock rooms to floor displays to comply with 'Sell By' dates, maximize product in store, and minimize product in stock rooms. They also order product for assigned accounts to ensure no out-of-stocks, originate display ideas or follow suggestions, and communicate effectively daily with key store personnel on service or product needs. Additionally, they construct or assemble display aids from company-provided Point of Sale (POS) materials. Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

Requirements

Ability to arrange products according to prearranged plan or own ideas approved by management.
Ability to place price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, or floor.
Ability to transfer product from customer stock room to floor displays to comply with "Sell By" dates, maximize product in store and minimize product in stock room.
Ability to order product for assigned accounts in accordance with established procedures to ensure no out-of-stocks conditions.
Ability to originate display ideas or follow suggestions or schedule of Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
Ability to communicate effectively daily with key store personnel on any service or product needs.
Ability to construct or assemble display aids from company provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
